T: This is my Home Town

S:
She made the whole song and the tune and gave them to Hamish Henderson and James Porter. She gave them three songs, Home Town is a great song. The song is about her boy who was seventeen at the time and away from home. Her husband was lying down and she made the song and wrote it down. She called him down to listen to it. She always used to make up songs. She was thinking about the boy and was sad. JP and HH recorded it and the tape is the first time she heard the song all through. [Sings several verses.] She did not remember it until she heard it on the tape. [Voice with electric organ.]
